Courtney Gum

Courtney has 20 years experience after graduating from UniSA in 2003, working in hospitals and private practice.

Courtney is a hands on therapist, utilising massage, joint mobilisation, dry needling and several other manual therapy techniques.

She loves both 1:1 management as well as undertaking supervised rehab with her clients. Courtney likes to get people back to where they want to be whilst make them feel strong and robust.

Courtney has a partner and two kids, lives on the Fleurieu Peninsula and enjoys gardening and cooking.

Courtney played AFLW from 2018 – 2020. She represented GWS Giants (18/19) and Adelaide Crows (2020). She was awarded the AFLPA MVP as well as coming 2nd in the AFLW Best & Fairest awards and making the All Australian Team.

Madhav Parab

Madhav has built up an impressive Physiotherapy resume, completing a Post Graduate degree in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from the Uni of SA in 2012, following his Bachelor’s degree from India in 2010.

Madhav is currently working with with the South Adelaide Football Club (SANFL) as their Team Physio.

Madhav has worked as a physiotherapist with a number of local and state level sports teams including football, hockey, soccer and cricket. One of the highlights of his career was his work with Mumbai Cricket Team where he was involved with injury management of international athletes such as Sachin Tendulkar.

As an avid sports person, Madhav likes to keep fit by doing strength training at the gym and also loves playing his guitar and tending to his permaculture garden. Madhav lives locally in the South Coast with his wife & 2 children.

Maddie Green

Maddie graduated from Flinders University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Physiotherapy Degree. She has previously worked as a Senior Physiotherapist and Senior Pilates Physiotherapist at other private practices before joining our team at Kinetic Balance. In 2022, Maddie was appointed the head physio for the Under 17s SA netball team, travelled with the youth SA indoor volleyball teams to national championships, and worked with the Adelaide Storm.

In her spare time, Maddie enjoys going to the gym, walking her dog and reading a good book. She has previously played footy for both South Adelaide and Glenelg in the SANFL, and represented South Australia in cricket.

Maddie loves all aspects of physiotherapy and treating injuries that occur in all areas of the body, whether they are acute or chronic in nature. She does have a keen interest in sporting injuries and neck pain, but overall, enjoys building therapeutic relationships with clients to help achieve their goals.

Anthony Sheridan

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Anthony has over 15 years experience working as a physio after graduating from the University of Teesside. He has worked in the UK, Melbourne, and for the 7 years prior to joining Kinetic Balance he worked for MyPhysioSA, Mt Barker.

Anthony is a strong believer in hands on manual therapy, complemented by exercise rehab to limit injury reoccurrence. He has always been involved with sports teams wherever he has worked including East Midlands England hockey development squad, Derby Rugby Club, Port Melbourne in the VFL and various other club teams.

Anthony has always been interested in sport and keeping active. He played Gaelic football at County level before leaving Ireland. Now he mainly keeps active looking after his small property in Willunga, running after his 2 kids and he still plays a bit of Gaelic football in the Adelaide comp.

Alex Shaw

Alex is a passionate physiotherapist who has a special interest in sports physiotherapy as well as general musculoskeletal injuries and impairment.

He utilises hands on manual therapy and exercise prescription to provide a holistic approach to his practice.

Away from the clinic Alex is a keen athlete with experience playing football at SANFL level with both South Adelaide and Glenelg.
